Where tile work shows
Bathroom Remodeling in Covington
Shower walls waterproofed before tile goes up, tile laid out so cut pieces land where you will not notice them, and vanities and fixtures set level and sealed.

The Room Where Shortcuts Show
Bathrooms hide their mistakes for a year or two. Then grout cracks, a corner leaks or the caulk turns dark. Most of that traces back to the layers underneath: the waterproofing, the slope of the shower floor, a vent fan that never pulled steam outside.
We spend time on those layers and on the tile layout, centering it on the room so cut pieces end up at the edges. The finished bath is covered by our one-year warranty.
What We Build in a Bathroom
-
Shower builds and tub swaps
A tub traded for a walk-in shower, a new surround or a rebuilt stall, each with a waterproof membrane and a correctly sloped floor before tile goes on.
-
Tile laid out first
Floor and wall tile planned on paper so grout lines meet at corners, niches line up with joints and narrow slivers stay out of sight.
-
Vanity, toilet, faucets
Vanities, tops, toilets, mirrors and lights, plus whatever pipe and wire rerouting it takes to put each one exactly where you want it.
-
A vent fan that works
A properly rated exhaust fan, ducted to the outside, so moisture leaves instead of soaking into new paint, caulk and grout.
Choices to Make Before Demolition
-
Move fixtures or keep them
Each fixture you relocate adds floor cutting and new drain or supply runs. Leaving them where they sit puts more of the budget into the tile and finishes you see.
-
Large tile or small
Large-format tile shows fewer grout lines but needs a very flat floor. Small mosaics follow a shower slope easily but take longer to set. Both change labor.
-
If it's the only bath
Plan for some days without a shower. We order the work so the toilet comes out late and goes back early, and we mark the no-shower days on your schedule.
Bathroom Remodel Answers
How long does a bathroom remodel take?
The work itself typically spans a few weeks; the clock starts when the tile, vanity and fixtures are here. Relocated drains, custom shower glass and long-lead tile stretch it, and the written schedule shows that.
Why does grout crack, and how do you prevent it?
Usually because the floor flexes or the tile went down on an uneven base. We check the subfloor, fix soft spots and set tile on a flat, solid layer so the joints stay intact.
